Dota2 7.30e patch: TI10 favors got nerf and Marci joined the fight

The long-waited post TI10 patch is here, with the adjustment on TI10 hot boys and Marci finally joined the fight straight from Dragon Blood anime.

1. Marci is here:

Dota2 newest hero has come, a melee fighter with a wide range of mobility and brawling skills. With her main stat is STR, and decently good AGI gain, she is quite suitable for close range combat.

While the infamous Horn Toss got nerfed on Magnus, IF decided that Marci will be the inheritance of that skill, which changed the name into Dispose. Additionally, Marci will have a twisted version of Overpower as her ultimate skill, making her become a true brawler like the big bad Ursa. On top of that, a long range lunge and a buff that give bonus damage and life steal make Marci being a favor for mid-game scaling.

You can read the detail about Marci here.

2. Magnus got significant nerf

With the removal of stun on Horn Toss, Magnus lost the ability to instantly full control the target when he toss the enemy. On top of that, the Skewer range nerf making it less stressful for the enemy when Magnus won't be able to drag one of them half of the screen in just a tick like before.

What a blessing on the pub, when a lot of people trying to replicate Collapse infamous play and failed horribly.

3. The wolf now... basically a wolf

The offlane Lycan with Scepter rush is really a pain for a lot of people, when the bite has much more lower cooldown than Shapeshift and the target still having the same range after being bitten, which lead to the situation of a wolf can jump on the tree, or tossing the tree around in teamfight why running at top speed. That quite imbalance, hence IF decided that a wolf must be a wolf, with fixed 150 range, and as Lycan can only Shapeshift when the time come, same go for his allies.

4. Lycan's partner got tuned down

The giant rock being a bit too overpowered during the TI10 patch, with his tree throw dealing a lot more damage and splash much more than the tree itself. Therefore, IF has tuned him down with the Tree Throw now matching with Tree Grab stat. Not a big nerf, but make Tiny more balance for the game.

5. You are suppose to be a magician, not a machine gun!

Started as a magician with high damage nuking skills, Lina being a bit too fiery recently, making her being a machine gun than a magic user. Being used as position 1 carry with right click damage, while having a really long range attack, high movement speed, still having pretty high nuking magic, Lina during the professional game was one of the most imbalance hero when she can fit pretty much every kind of team. As Fiery Soul being tuned down, and Dragon Slave cooldown increased, Lina will now lean more toward hybrid or magic build, than just straight forward being a machine gun like before.

A lot more heroes got adjusted during this patch, all of them are more or less related to the meta of last TI, you can check for the detail here.

Don't forget we having Marci welcome promotion just for this weekend, don't miss it.
