Thats How You Should Start A Teamfight!

Hey guys i'm adrin from VikingDOTA and today i wanna talk about team fights, so i was watching a 2k match and i noticed a mistake that every single player in that game made. as i said before playing dota randomly just freestyling on map won't get you any where, knowing the reason for your actions is the best way to identify your mistakes, so lets get into it again.

Important rule

You have definitely seen professional dota matches, something you can notice in pro games is that fights don't happen very often, cores are playing passive and they mainly focus on farming.
As i mentioned in order to get better at dota you need to know what you're doing, so something comes in mind when we are talking about pros "they know exactly what they're doing". so in the first hand we wanna be aware of the reasons.

Requirements

Players in low ranked games often fight just because someone already commited to it  so they don't want to let him die and it happens basically 70 percent of the game, but pros act much differently in these situations. to have a solid team fight with high chance of winning it requires cores to possess timings, just in case if you don't know what timing is let me explain, timing is an item that carry is aiming to buy up to a certain time in order to make impact and without it he rathers to ignore everything and farm. to complete my point you can't expect to win every single team fight without giving time and space to carries to get their timings.

Targets

There is also a crucial topic i want to mention which guids you to understand what should be your main target before starting a fight, lets say you started a 5v5 fight and you can't choose a target to start with so to solve that problem you should realize depending on your role the targets you pick are totally different, every single teamfight initiates with a certain important hero and countinues by supports trying to save that hero, so the point is cores are going to perform much more confident when there is support around and they will be saved by them incase if they were the target. best solution to that matter is that cores should focus supports cuz they are much easier to kill and they are willing to rescue beside being a being in the ass and if you're a support your main job is to position yourself correctly to be able to save your cores.

Positioning

In order to be safe you need to learn how to position yourself in a safe area and move around based on whats happening on the fight but its not something that i would really explain cuz it only comes with experience and spamming one hero.
