Valve has released the Crownfall update and launched a holiday event dedicated to the story of Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit. This is just the first chapter of an adventure that will last for several months. 4 to be more precise.

Crownfall Storyline Event
Dota 2 has launched the first part of an adventure called Crownfall, where players venture into an interactive map to complete various mini-games and quests. Successful completion of tasks will reward players with tokens.
The event offers three types of rewards, including Arcana items, treasure chests, and other prizes. The event is divided into four parts, but only the first part is available at the start, with the second part planned for release in May.
Among the rewards are new Arcanas for Skywrath Mage and Vengeful Spirit, matching their appearances from the comic. The number of tasks in the event is currently unknown, but the official website showcases an interactive map with many possibilities, including fishing.
Details of the "Crossroads Market" Event
In Dota 2, a vast interactive map has been introduced, allowing players to navigate predefined routes. During the "Crossroads Market" event, players earn tokens based on their selected hero.
These tokens can be used for map navigation, interacting with various characters, and earning rewards. The map also features unique locations like the token trader's tent and a candy caravan.
Rewards for Completing the "Crossroads Market" Event
The event includes two treasure troves containing a total of 24 item sets for different heroes. On the map, players can encounter Sizel and Kvurt's candy caravan, where they can exchange candies for various items including sets, couriers, wards, and even Arcanas.
Additionally, collecting 10 coins during map exploration grants players an $8 discount on their next purchase in the event store.
Explorer's Journey Set
The event is free for all players, but there's an option to purchase a special booster for $15. This booster unlocks additional quests and new map sections, offering extra chests, couriers, creeps, immortals, event coins, and more.
The event is divided into four parts, with the second act, "Druid Desert," starting in mid-May. Release dates for the third and fourth acts, "Icefreeze Wastes" and "Skyras Spires," have not been announced yet, and starting a new act won't close the opportunity to complete previous ones.
